Urge Leaders to Budget for Health Care

This week, leaders of the Missouri House and Senate will meet to finalize the state budget (HB 11), making decisions that have significant consequences for all Missourians. Earlier this year, the House and Senate each passed a budget, but their bills had significant differences. One such difference is that the Senate included language that would make very low income parents eligible for the Medicaid program. Now, in order to make this budget final, a conference committee will meet to resolve the differences and determine whether or not low income Missourians have access to health care.
