This fall, the US Congress has made tremendous progress toward enacting health care reform. But, while they are closer than ever before, there are still many details to be worked out. As leaders in the House and Senate put together the final legislation, they will be making important decisions that will determine the quality and affordability of health insurance coverage. These decisions matter for the 800,000 Missourians without health insurance. But they also matter for all the Missourians who have health insurance now but who have no guarantee that they will tomorrow if they get sick or lose their job.
