We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit NCJW Missouri Action Network. The short explanation of this alert was:
Currently, many of Missouri's uninsured children are eligible for either Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) but are not yet enrolled in those programs. While the General Assembly failed to do anything about the problem of the uninsured in Missouri during the legislative session, there is something that the Governor can do immediately. If Governor Nixon makes several administrative changes to the way that the Department of Social Services enrolls children in these programs, more kids would have access to health care.
